Moving from marketing hustle to marketing harmony

Choosing a human-kind marketing approach in a world that favours force over flow.

For years, I felt like an alien in business.
I watched from the wings as other people built empires around me—seemingly with ease. I tried to emulate their techniques. I copied their frameworks. I paid thousands for courses and programmes, hoping that somewhere in there, I’d find the secret to truly consistent income.
But none of it worked.
Pain point marketing never sat right with me. Nor did treating people like numbers in a funnel. And certainly not using human psychology against people to manipulate behaviour.
I had to find another way to express myself, and I had to do it before the foundership sank on me, and I had to go back to a salaried job.
Eventually, I realised this:
Marketing—selling—it’s just an energetic exchange.
And if I wanted to share what I offered in a way that didn’t give me (or anyone else!) the ick, then I needed to understand my energy first.
So I doubled down on self-inquiry.I dove into Human Design and Astrology.I leaned into intuitive practices and began healing the conditioning I carried around visibility and truth-telling.
The more I understood who I am—how I’m wired to work, share, and connect—the more confident I became and the more I grew into my voice.
And then something unexpected happened: I started to attract.
Not through push. Not through pressure. Just… resonance. Alignment. Energy meeting energy.
This stuff works.
It works for me, and it will work for you, too. Because rather than continuing to look outside of yourself for the answers, this is an act of reclaiming your inner authority…an act of self-trust.
And when you trust yourself, guess what? Others sense it and they trust you, too.
A conscious awakening
What I see in the small business community right now, is that more and more people are waking up to the reality that the old ways—hustle culture, manipulation-based marketing, extractive business practices—just don’t work anymore.
They sense this, but they don’t know what to do instead. They are scared to take their foot off of the pedal, and often, the desire for quick wins overrides the deeper work.
The result? Marketing from a place of convincing. From scarcity. From desperation. And that energy? It repels. It creates resistance. Because people can feel it—especially now. We’re becoming more conscious, more attuned. Ulterior motives are loud, even when unspoken.
I know not every battle is mine to fight.
But I do believe this: my words will find the people they’re meant for.
So this space—Kindred Founders—is where we'll be sharing the journey of moving from hustle to harmony. From noise to truth. From chasing to attracting.
No templates. No hacks. Just lived experience.
Maybe you're walking that path too?
If so, welcome in.
